I'm dosing about 6ml or so of Macro Mix and 6ml or so of Nutritrace CSM (from aquariumfertilizer.com) in my 90 gallon daily. Is this enough? is their more ferts I should be adding? We just have amazon swords, crypts, baby java ferns, java moss....basic plants that my silver dollars don't really want to eat too much of.
The plants are growing but we have a big algae problem that I am trying to get under control. I just started dosing the tank with these ferts a couple weeks ago maybe. We have a pressurized co2 system going with a consistent ph of 6.8 ( that was just set up like a month or two ago). The light is on the tank for 8 hrs a day. There is two filters running ( a fluval 406 canister and a marineland penguin 300)
Im going to try to attack the algae ( BBA, green hair algae, some brown stuff too) with excel tomorrow.
Before, I really didn't provide much in the fertilization department, so I think that along with some filter malfunctions is what started the problem in the first place and we never really got it under control.
