Hi,
I would just like to confirm with more experienced aquarists if this is brown diatom algae. It has slimy hairy part that are attached to the plants as seen in the pictures. If it is what I think then according to a bunch of different sites it will just go away by itself correct?

aquarium is almost 2months old.

Yup sure looks like it. Water changes and keeping the tank clean will get rid of it faster.
