I just set this tank up like 4 days ago and today I noticed this stringy clear thing on my baby tears. I pulled most of it off with tweezers. It doesnt appear to be green string algae since it breaks up easily and is clear. Do you guys know what this is

Do you have any mosse in the tank? I had the same thing on a couple plants when my java moss died back a little. It never came back after I pulled it off.

I had the same thing in one of my tanks. I pulled it off and I had also started dosing excel. Haven't seen it since.

No moss in the tank this is a 2 gallon spec I feel as if this clear stringy film is spreading all over my baby tears. Im worried so ill inject some excel on it and see what happens ill post pics soon thanks guys!!
