Hi all,

I was just wondering if there is such thing as an underwater plant light? I am putting together a tall tank and it would be nice to have something like that for the light to reach the bottom better.

Thanks!

It really isn't hard to get a light that will be intense enough at the substrate for almost any tank. An exception would be something like a 36 inch high column tank, but that would be almost impossible to take care of anyway. To answer your question, I think there is a LED light available now that works under water, but as I recall, it is a long strip light, not one suitable for a column tank. I don't remember who makes it either, but a google search should find it.
