Has anyone seen a plant like this that lives under water? The only plants I'm familiar with that are similar are glossostigma and Elatine gussonei but its not exactly the fit I'm looking for. It's growing in my gf's backyard and I really like it. :hihi:

what's interesting about it is that it grows one direction which looks really neat in itself.

Seconding elatine trianda, though a similar effect might be a fissidens moss carpet if you like the 'fern-y' look.

That looks like Oplismenus. I have some of it going in my 65-gallon. Here it is with a 'Tropica Marble Sword'...

That's a variegated cultivar. I can't remember it's name off-hand(?).

Yes I have that variegated Oplismenus growing emersed in a riparium. The leaves die if they stay underwater for very long. It is super easy to grow, but needs some training to make that nice carpet. I have just trimmed hear & there and moved stems around to get it into the right shape.

I have extra of that stuff if anybody might like some.
