Interested in if anyone knows of a guide that shows all the techniques used for each of the types of scissors and pinsettes for aquascaping.

Also curious if anyone knows of any manufacturer that makes "commercial" style aquascaping tools for larger tanks.

Yeah, it would be great. For many years I was using only normal scissors. For Christmas I got nice 30 cm long tweezers and now I see some tools may be needed, but are there some clever methods to use them, that's the question.

Thank you for posting! I would like to know as well. I've tried using several aquascape specific curved tweezers/tongs for planting only to be left frustrated as hell when everything kept popping back up. Have really been wanting a nice set made in Japan but have yet to find.

One thing I know - you need to stick tweezers in soil around 45 degrees and then rotate to perpendicular and take out. That's only magic I know of.

It would be nice to have something specific for trimming my plants besides some scissors. Always feels like I'm doing more damage than good...

Otherwise I just use my fingers to plant with, haven't had any problems with it yet!

You can have problems when the tank is 60 cm high like mine. It's hard to plant with hand in the back, when I have problem to touch the soil there
