My friend just "gifted" me a 20 gallon tall unplanted tank with occupants. I've think I want to make it a "higher-end-of-low" light tank (maybe dosing excel), and make this my "first" planted tank. I've been thinking about getting the Beamswork DA full spectrum LED 24", but it is currently our of stock at the usual suspects. Would the Beamswork DA 6500k LED 24" give me the same results for growth of plants? I don't mind if it's a bit bluer/harsher on my eyes, as long as it is just as strong.

Is this light a bad choice for my goals, should I be looking into something else?
