I've been using this for about a week now with positive results. Still playing with the dosage. It will color the water reddish brown. My plants seem to uptake it well judging by the color change in the red plants and the clearing of the red in the water itself.

Hi SpaceLord,

Unlike the previous iron you posted this one has 'water soluble' nitrogen as well as Fe-EDDHA. Unfortunately the source of the iron is not specified which would make me suspect is is either urea and / or ammonia.

If I had fish I valued I would pass on this one and use the other iron that you posted.
I found another PDF.

So the other one is better because its just Iron without Nitrogen from a questionable source.

This one I believe will work at higher PH but the other one is still better than the EDTA that needs super low PH to work at all.

Thanks

I've been using the Sequestar fully chelated iron in the bottle for about a month. No problems. But I use such a minute amount that I doubt the nitrogen, no matter the source, will be harmful. My nitrites are measuring normally after I dose. I ordered a milligram scale so I can measure the amounts I am using each week.
