So... My drop checker fell off the side of my tank and to the substrate. Of course the solution is no longer in there. It was 4 dkh with 3 drops of reagent in a 29 gallon. Should I do a panicked water change? Who knows how long ago it fell....

You should be fine, this happens to me from time to time. If your are really concerned do a water change. (that is when mine usally falls off, when im cleaning.) I was just having this discusion on a different post.

As mentioned, the small amount of bromothymol blue that would make it into your aquarium is negligible, but if you want, you can do a water change if that will make you feel at ease.

Now to figure out why the suction didn't work. Guess I should have cleaned the glass first.
