Heres a shot of two of my Gold Gouramis, using flash. Female on the left, male on the right. She's got a big bulge on both sides, is she gravid?

I'd say that's a good possibility. Has the male been trying to build a bubblenest anywhere?

Not that Ive noticed, but I dont spend a lot of time in that room atm.. Should I put some floating plants in there for him?

Will do, Laura! That would be cool, although the last thing I need is 30 gouramis in my tank.. So maybe I wont. lol. I dont know. What happens to the eggs if I dont? Are they reabsorbed into her body or will she lay them unfertilized?

Thanks, lilhelper. Ive had them for quite a long time. Heres a better shot of my male, I think he's gorgeous even though one of his little 'feelers' is broken. No, not in that way.

As long as its not detrimental to her, I might just leave it be. As I said, I dont need 30 gouramis.. But it would be cool to do it, just to see it happen.
