Today I opened a "new" one year old 1 liter bottle of Flourish. When I dosed it using my dropper bottle I noticed that it did not look quite right. Insead of the usual dark color it appeared to be watered down... quite a bit too! It is less than half as dark as I am used to. I wonder if I got a bad batch? I used it but I am not sure.... thought I'd ask here. Anyone ever had this happen?

Did you try shaking it?

May be that it settled out some.

Yeah I thought that too. But shaking it didn't change anything. It looks really diluted. Bummer. I ordered it from Big Al's about a year ago.

Not sure if this is any help or not, but usually mine is much lighter when first opened then it gets darker as time passes. It's probably about the same intensity as a light green dropchecker then eventually becomes much darker so that it looks like a dark tea.

I know Florish does darken over time. After a while mine has gotten almost black and quite stinky.

This new batch does not look like any that I have ever used. Maybe it is just an anomoly but I can't be sure. And I have a whole liter of it!!! I will continue to use it I guess. Time will tell. I really only use Flourish to supplement Tropica Mastergrow.

Well there is definitely something wrong with my Flourish..... It is clouding my water. Bummer.
