Hi I have just recently out an electronic pH meter on my tank and have noticed that during the day and into the later evening the pH changes....a fair bit

All my numbers are great and pH in the morning is 6.6 ( where I want it) but by the evening it's looming around 7-7.2s then in the morning it's back down again is this normal?

Numbers
pH as above
Ammonia 0
Nitrites 0
Nitrates 0
KH 4 (API test solutions)
GH 5 (API test solutions)
Temp 26

Do you use Co2 at all? C02 lowers the Ph value, and at night, your plants do not use Co2 since the lights are off...That would be my first guess. Shouldnt be a big deal.

I have glass covers then a wooden canopy

No co2 I don't actually use anything at all other than tristart and salts

Honestly the fish seem fine and I'm sure my clown loaches would show signs if it was affecting them I just got worried as I've not noticed it before.

Thanks loads
