My tap water has been inconsistent recently, having experienced a number of shrimp and fish deaths. I am trying to switch to a 100% RO water change so as to make my water softer (target 1dKH, PH bet 6.0-6.8, and GH 3-4). The only products I have are Borneowild GH Up and Seachem Equilibrium. I am trying to stay away from Equilibrium as it clouds the water and apparently causes other nasty problems.

My question is, may I reconstitute RO water with just GH Up + Potassium Bicarbonate (KHCO3)? or do I need to explore other products like Kent's RO Right or GLA's Ultimate Booster?
