Every time I dose iron, flourish iron, the water in my tank becomes opaque.

Anyone have any ideas?

Check that you are dosing correctly. The only fert i use is Flourish iron and I haven't had any clouding in my water. I dose the recommended amount every morning before I turn the tank lights on. Sounds like you may be using too much?

Gluconate iron such as Flourish (both Comprehensive and Iron)
is weakly chelated compared to EDTA and DTPA.
Pro: plants can take up easily.
Con: prone to precipitate in high pH and KH water.
The clouding you see is the precipitation.

I figured it was precipitating out I checked using the flourish to make sure that wasn't the iron solution I made it myself using dry ferts.
last week when I checked the parameters in my tank I was sitting in about 2.5 ppm P and it seems when I goes 1 ppm Fe then the water will get cloudy
