I heard a lot of bad things happen to peoples ipods after they updated to 4.0,4.1.

Do you know if they solved the battery problems yet?

seems fine to me.. The batteries does drain pretty quick though...
The new ipod's screen resolution is amazing... I can't get over reading on the new ipod.

so u updated ios 4.2 and it woked fine? no battery probs?

and can u make free calls/texts on it?

You can never make a phone call on ipod touch, only text where there is WiFi.

If you want to jail break, just upgrade to 4.1

You an make calls through some wifi app, I think... I'm updated to the latest OS.

no issues except I noticed the battery drains a bit faster when there's wifi around and when I'm watching videos but that's expected... I turn off my ipod when I'm not using it.

heh, that sounds like a conspiracy theorist.

The new os probably turns on some component all the time that it didn't do in the previous os.

yeah my guess is it does. But does it send a battery eating virus? Did apple even test that before they released it and gave everyone those problems?

i gueess i wont update untill i can be certian its safe
