Hi ladies and gents,
Having used this forum for inspiration several times, I thought it would be nice to introduce myself. I have always enjoyed seeing people set up their aquarium and I thought. I would return the favour. I live in Madrid and I'm Durch so excuse my English.
I have had a 40 liter aquarium in the past and a fluval edge, however no pics :icon_cry:
Without further ado, I introduce to you, my fluval chi
Tank:
Fluval chi 25 liter,
Has (poor) incorporated LED lighting
A carbon and sponge filter
Eheim 25W heater
Aqua Grow plant and shrimp soil (3 liter)
Water :icon_cool
Plants:
Anubis petite (on the rock)
Micranthemum, monte carlo (foreground)
Marsilea, crenata (background)
Also some rock I don't know the name of. They seem to have some channels in them and the hollow tubes would be nice for the shrimp.
I'm having no animals in the tank as yet, however after in a week or so I will most likely introduce around 8 Crystal Red Shrimp. I would like something swimming in there, however I realise it is a bit of a small tank.
I'm not planning on using CO2 because that seems a bit complicated and. I prefer to wait and see how the plants do in the current setup.
Before the last picture I propperd up the bigger rock a bit to put the focus point of the scape somewhat more in the middle (height wise). I plan on moving the smaller rock somewhat for estetic reasons.
Please feel free to critise!
