Some interesting properties about this plant

1. its very good at absorbing nutrients very quickly good for messy fish but it can clear all the nutrients from slower plants
2. I can fight off cyanobacteria and algae because it secretes an anti-bacterial and other allopathic substances SEE
3. This plant can lower PH in hard water environments because it actually uses bicarbonates to increase the electric potential within its 2 cell thick leaves. The top layer becomes alkaline and its lower leaves become more acidic as a result. this plant can absorb calcites SEE

If I had ammonia I would add a little when there are 0 nitrites and see how quickly it processes through to 0ppm

It makes the most beautiful floating plant for a shrimp tank. Reminds me of stairs going from the bottom to the top of a shorter 10 gallon tank because my floating pieces are so long that they sometimes get stuck to the substrate while the other end is still floating. I see my shrimp climbing up it like they are climbing up to heaven, then they swim down.
