I don't have intermedia, but I'm told they're similar to Centromochlus perugiae, which I do keep. Great little critters, almost completely nocturnal, although once you find their hiding spots, they're fun to look at. They like to wedge themselves in somewhere and park there for the day. Some of mine only eat live foods, although most have transitioned to flakes as well. Some never leave the bottom third of the tank for feeding, but some come up to the top to skim for food. They like soft water and driftwood/tunnels to hide in. You might try just looking up "driftwood catfish" since there's a lot of common behaviors between all the driftwood cat species.
