just drop it in. it may float for a day or so while it soaks with water, but after that it will sink to the bottom.

Is alphaprobreeders a trusted source. I saw they had them and shrimp mineral blocks too. Just wondering about other peoples experience with them. With the shrimp farm changing hands I have no idea where to get shrimp supplies and shrimp from. I live in the boonies in Mississippi. We don't have a LFS within 100 miles except Petco and it's 45 min away.
