how do I properly put one of these in my tank? ihave few amano shrimp and iheard they are also good for fish as well. do ineed to inspect them before putting in my tank? can ijust put a portion in first and see how that goes?

thanks. ill probaly start with a small chunk first. how long should ilet it sit in the tank for? a few days?

thanks everyone ithink ill boil it first to be on the safe side. and the piece ihave is HUGE. but im thinking of doing pieces from that leaf first
