in the works shrimp tank 10 g

This is a 10 gallon tank that will be cherry shrimp only and moss only . Has a odyessa surface skimmer filter and desk lamp with a 6500k cfl , hard scape is just some lava rock.

Looks good, I can picture the rocks covered in moss already. Do you have different types of moss? What are they?
Also, do you mind sharing your water parameters?

Haven't check the water yet only up and running for a few days but I used 5 gallons of water from my 20g that is beening running for a few months.

I have some small pebbles should I put them around the edges and out near corners

Got these cherry shrimp from petco a few of them are super dark red and others just red

Nice setup! I'll be following this one for sure for future reference on my shrimp tanks. Keeping shrimp [alive] is one thing I need to figure out.

Good pictures :eek: pebbles also helped the scape a bit :) when it grows out it will look better. The super red cherrys, is that an actual strain or?

Got the cherry shrimp from petco they were labeled as red cherry shrimp so no idea what strain but they are supper dark in person , I love them
