I'm sure this was a dumb move

I bought a bag of FloraMax (RED) and then found a bag of Eco-Complete Planted (BLACK). Would you use both? Which would you put on the bottom?

So I have a tank with flourite and Floramax. Regular flourite is pretty red. Because Floramax is light thus a pain in to plant in I put a layer of it down first. The flourite was too red for me so I did the top layer at 20% Floramax and 80% flourite and it looks a lot better imo. It's definitely doable. Floramax and Eco are very similar.
