LOL, I made my own website for Aquariums. As a reference for me and for my friends. I been adding a little bit each hour, and even added TPT on my Nav Bar. Not much to it yet but here is the link:

James, nice start and I applaud your effort. You must really have the planted tank fever.

However, I think you might have misspelled botanic. (Hawaii folks will get a chuckle out of "botonic")

Anyway, don't give up! If you stick with it, maybe someday you can sell your website like the countless other web millionaires. At the very least, you will have some experience and knowledge... and that's always good to have.

Looks sweet, I am joining your 'Forum' but I would recommend you make your site on www.tripod.com . It is easier to use and has more options than freewebs.com (I have used both) and the best part is that your domain name goes first. For example: www.aquaticbotanics.tripod.com

Okay, don't worry Tripod even has a tour like thing to help people who are new to Site Building


P.S. I am also in the process of building an aquarium based site on my own tanks and information but it is more personal (like rain's site if you have seen it).

I have been doing this for quite some time. My first forum was/is http://ravensrealm.net I have had that up for a few yrs and I am sure that there is probably only minimal original code left.
