If you had the choice to pick a setup which would you go with. This is for a 180 gallon 6'x2'x2' tank. With pressurized CO2


1. 6 lights at 54 watts each T5 HO set up
2. 4 lights at 110 watts each VHO icecap setup
3. 4 lights at 96 watts each power compact setup
4. 3 lights at 150 watts metal halid setup with 6 24watt T5s

I would go with t-5. Is this a fixture or a retro fit? The 54watts are 4'. I have a 4x54w on my 6' tank and it isn't too bad. Pictures are more difficult because of the dark ends. But if you are retro fitting these, I would recommend staggering them for better coverage.

I agree... 6 T5 bulbs staggered should work fine. That's how I set it up in my 250gal tank.
