if some aquatic plants requires co2, how do they exist in nature with a huge tank of co2 being pumped into the water?

if some aquatic plants requires co2, how do they exist in nature with a huge tank of co2 being pumped into the water?
Usually by growing partially out of the water, where they can get that co2 from the air.

good example of this would be ludwigia

Also important to remember that atmospheric CO2 is always in balance with the water, and also that there biologic sources of CO2.

The more CO2 a plant needs, the more likely it is to live only partially or temporarily submerged.
