I'm planning to start a planted aquarium in the early spring and I'm gathering ideas for aquascapes. I was hoping some knowledged people could help me ID the major plants in this picture.

The carpet I think is dwarf hairgrass, but the rest I'm clueless about.

It appears, that the photo you are referring to is from plantbrain. plantbrain (Tom Barr) is active on this forum. If he does not see and respond to this post, you could just PM him and ask.

I believe the plant list is:

Rotala rotundifolia Sp. Green,
Microsorum pteropus 'needle leaf'
And some types of moss. Almost looks like sphagnum moss on some of the branches but not sure if that is something that is realistic to put in an aquarium.

Looks like thre is something else in the back right corner, Cryptocoryne of some kind maybe?

Tom (plant brain) is a member here and i am sure he will see this thread.

Beautiful tank. Certainly a great one to use for inspiration. Low simple plant list, simple plant arrangements yet strickingly elegant.

The stems in the back look alot like Didiplis diandra, to me but IDK.
