I picked up a handful of small beach pebbles in Delaware over a year ago and was wondering if they looked safe to add to my tank for small details. If so I’d give them a bleach bath first.

Perfectly fine I would just boil them in hot water.. few minutes and your good. Honestly don’t even have to do that. Those pebbles look cool!

Haha yeah I thought so too, I went around picking them up one by one like I was crazy Instead of actually enjoying the beach. Thanks for reply!

Don’t worry I literally do the same thing when I go to the beach. Take care.

Boiling would be fine. To be sure they don’t change water parameters you could always do the acid test (unsure if vinegar would work). Basically if it bubbles with an acid it will raise your pH.

I would say overall those stones look nice and will look nice in a tank.
