These are super tiny little white spiral looking shells attached to the wood. On the driftwood is the only place I'm seeing them.
Any idea what they might be?

Definitely nerite eggs. They lay them everywhere and they are annoying to remove. I won't keep the females in a tank anymore for this reason.

Thank you for the responses. I do have nerite snails. Now to research how to sex nerite snails so I can remove the culprit.

A year after removing the nerite, I still have rings all over my driftwood. I thought it was a fungus when they first started showing up lol. Between the eggs and them being very picky eaters, I prefer other snails now (though none beat nerites on algae eating).

It's super hard to do. At a minimum you need a magnifier. Something to do with an eye fold or some such.

What I do is put one in the tank and see if any eggs show up. If they do, remove. If not leave it. Takes like 4 months to be sure.
