Can anyone tell me what the fantastic looking plant is that Tom Barr is using in the foreground here? The leaves appear pointier to me than Glosso, and it looks much smaller than my Staurogyne. What can I say, I want it...

S. repens. People here like to call it Tropica 049 or something ridiculous like that. (and yes it was introduced by tropica but really, refer to a plant with its name)

Is that repens? Doh! Then I got screwed and accidentally bought its cousin Staurogyne sp. 'Porto Velho' on Ebay!... and got charged a lot too.

I have tons of S. porto velho. I sold a gallon bag half full for like 20 bucks shipped lol. I love the plant. It's slow growing but it gets in really thick and lush.

edit: That's also why people should refer to plants with their proper names unless the common name is ubiquitous and very specific to that plant.
