I was hoping someone could help me identify what happened to my peppered Corey.

I noticed a problem w/ the fish a, I removed the fish to examine him and put him in a glass.

Within an hour he died.

At this point I am trying to figure out if there is the possibility of the what ever killed this fish can spread and if so how I should treat the tank.

picture is worth a thousand word. But it looked to be a bubble or tumor under the skin w/ redness around it.
