I have a 30 gallon tank with 9 dwarf neon rainbows and 5 dwarf honey gourami. ph is around 7.6, I was thinking of getting one platinum angelfish or a apisto boriallie. any other ideas would be helpful

With the 9 dwarf rainbows and 5 honey gourami's you are well stocked for the top zone.
I would go with an apisto pair for bottom.

Apistogramma cacatuoides usually do well at a higher pH, & they're more readily available than other Apistogramma species. A pair of Laetacara dorsigera would also be a good choice.
