Found it in my creek here in northern georgia. They also burrow, I saw them do it.

They have been taken out just in case they eat plants.

If you're genuinely interested you might have better luck on the NANFA forum. On the plus side, there is only one type of endangered snail living in Georgia, and that's not it (at least according to the GA DNR.) Always a risk taking something unidentified out of the wild.

I have those as well! The ones I collect have golden bodies, occasionally with flecking. Check out NANFA!

It may be of the genus Elimia but not sure of the species.

I found them! They are Pleurocera sp. i think
