Hello, I'm a beginner trying out a high tech setup.

10 gallon
paintball CO2
36w Archaea light fixture
EI dry ferts dosing
aquasoil

HC
UG
Glosso
Blyxa
Dwarf Hair grass

And I see small, white, oval shaped snails with almost transparent shells. These snails are eating some of my algae, but should I start getting rid of them for the sake of my plants?

Are these common nuisance pond snails?

Big pictures:

Thanks!

They look too big to be limpits
They look like freshwater limpets to me... i don't think they're assassin snails. Compared to the ADA sticker, they're pretty small.

Freshwater limpets aren't known to eat plants or be harmful, but they are a nuisance. Try scraping them off with an algae scraper or a razor blade and sucking them up with a syphon.
