What is a good med for ich in a planted that also has shrimp and snails?

Raising the temperature gradually is probably the best way, without dosing medications that may affect invertebrates.

What kind of stocking do you have, and what shrimp are you currently keeping?
Kordon ich Attack works, and doesn't hurt shrimp, but it smells bad, will turn your water brown, and will gunk up your filters.

I keep my temp around 80 I have neons and cardinals and three bristle nose plecos. The shrimp are your standard CRS.
Are these crystal red shrimps?
If they are, raising the temperature may be somewhat of a problem for the shrimps as they are more sensitive to the higher temp increase.

I put CRS in by mistake. They are cherries.
I would raise the temp gradually to upwards of 84 degrees. The cherries should survive.

Absolutely you will need add an airstone and blast the thing, as high temp water is not capable of holding as much oxygen.
My local aquarium society says use salt but that worries me...
Hi I had the same problem. I had ich in my main tank and tons of cherry shrimp. I just raised the temperature slowly and the ich went away. My cherries were fine as well. I didn't want to medicate or add salt since I have lots of plants. Goodluck!
