Ok so In the first picture you will see my big sword, It is the biggest plant I have in the tank and is growing like a champ, and my angels love laying eggs all over it. You can even see one of my favorite ladies cleaning a leaf for her next spawn in the first pic. In said picture you can also see a thick woody stalk coming up from the center of the plant, and pic #2 is whats at the end of that stalk. My question is how big do i need to let the baby swords grow before I can safely snip them off and root them (so I can grow and sell em' lol) or should I just wait for the mother plant to cut them loose?

I put the wrong 2nd picture >_< check the 2nd post

I usually give the new plantlets enough time to develop a good root system before cutting them from the mother plant.
