I have 50+ baby Peacock Gudgeons

Curiosity got the best of me and I removed the eggs before the community could eat them. They hatched 4 days ago and now I have a new tank of babies. Yikes...I didn't think it would be so easy.

They will need homes when the survivors grow up, and I prefer to stay local (Atlanta, GA area).

How is the best way to sell/trade fish (local) and avoid shipping them? The Sale forum here looks like it's for plants, although I'm not 100% sure. Any advise would help, Thanks!!

This site has a local sub forum for each state. You can post there, no shipping allowed otherwise Craigslist may be your best bet. You can also sell to your LFS usually they only give store credit.

Thank you vvDO. My LFS is a decent option, and probably the easiest. I'll need them to grow up first, so a larger tank is already waiting for them when necessary.
I'm actually attempting to reduce my tanks...

awesome! Any advice on how to get the eggs? I never manage to catch the eggs for my pair.
I used 1/2 PVC pipes cut to 2-3" long. They laid the eggs along the inner diameter, which adhered to the walls, so no egg loss when moving the pipe. I let the male fan the eggs for 2-3 days, since I wasn't about to create a current of water for them. When the eggs began to disappear I assumed they were hatching, and I moved the pipe into a netted breeder within the same tank, so no change in water conditions. Sure enough they were hatching quickly. I waited a couple days and scooped the entire breeder into a 2.5gal tank (by immersing the small tank into the main tank). I was able to pull the netted breeder out carefully after that. I added a heater and a small (cycled) filter (with pre-filter of course), and some feathery stem plants to float on the surface. They're eating 'First Bites'. I'll monitor the conditions and their size before upgrading the tank (considering a 20L since it's the only empty one available). Other than that I'm winging it, and so far so good.

I have 3x male and 4x female Peacocks, so this batch contains more than one spawn. All three PVC pipes are filled with eggs again; I can't babysit them all!

Something that I use when working with tiny fry, might be of help. Fry tend to get hung in nets or other normal ways of moving fish so I don't like that.
When fry are tiny, a siphon into a bowl can work really well to move a group without ever touching them. I use a large bowl with a rounded bottom as it is ideal to move to the new tank and slip them out into the water without corners, etc. for them to hang in.
With cichlids that have large swarm of fry, I tend to let the parents do their thing for a time and then siphon off a portion but leave many for them to protect. The theory is that it helps to bond the pair if they do the natural protection thing.
And as you've noticed, you really don't want to be raising a whole group of more than 20-25. It will flood the local market in many cases.

You could consider selling them on Aquabid.
I received 7 Peacock juvies from a seller there for 42 bucks including shipping..

Agreed, my goal was to get 1-2 survivors for my tank.

I've never seen fry in the main tank, as I suspect they are immediately consumed by any and all adult fish. I like the siphon idea, although the eggs will still need protection first. Another option is a plastic bagger with air-stone which avoids a net, and limit the number kept.

With Peacocks the male chases the female away so he can protect the eggs alone. Any bonding seems to be complete after spawning. He protects the eggs 24/7, and then eats them when they hatch. I think cichlids are a bit more civil to both each other and their young.
If you do decide to ship, I would definitely want some, I can't find them locally

In addition to all of the other suggestions, check to see if there is a local fish group on Facebook. Good to get as much visibility as possible.

That's less than what I've paid for overnight shipping, excluding the fish!
I got a couple of these from the East Coast, and more at a later date from the West Coast, and added other fish to the orders to justify the cost. My LFS seems to have them periodically, but never many it seems.
