I asked about this once but I have pics now. Help my pearl gourami?

So, my poor girl has always had this little bit of an open wound on her, but she eats fine and never acted strangely so I marked it down as either a scar or a minor little cut, since for a while it never changed.

As of the past few weeks however, it has gotten worse and while she still acts fine, it looks pretty nasty. I've been doing weekly 50% water changes, adding a little bit of aquarium salt (not much though because of plants), have had the temperature at 80 if not a little higher, and will be dosing some eurothromyicin by mixing it in with the food.

What is this exactly and what can I do to get rid of it?

Quarantine her and treat with antibiotics. You got a flesh bacteria there.
what antibiotics exactly?
use triple sulfur or a similar product, failing that furan based meds will work too

I had this hit my angelfish a few months back
Will this spread to other fish, its only been on her for a while now and all the other fish are fine (minus damage they have done to themselves, silly cichlids)

Agree with antibiotics for treatment and wonder why the fish has been placed with cichlid's and what type of cichlid's.
Not normally a good fit unless cichlid's are dwarf's.
Blood Parrot, Rainbow Cichlids, and a Geophagus Brasiliensis, also Angelfish

Honestly...they get along incredibly well. The only aggression in the tank is between the three rainbow cichlids being silly with each other but otherwise all is incredibly peaceful. I often like to do what is general not accepted to be "do-able" if it is not accepted to be "do-able" for a reason that can be very irregular. The pearls never hide and come up right to the front of the glass with the 3 rainbows whenever they see me, in fact they have adopted an almost cichlid like behavior towards people.
Furan-2 helped my pearl lady to get read of that nasty fungus (bacteria is the primary cause). She had it on all the fins, looking very similar to yours. So quarantine and treat with antibiotic.

PS: do not even look at Melafix.
