I ended up pruning it way down...and it's growing like crazy! I pulled the river rock it's attached to out to see how the roots were doing and they have already attached enough that I was able to cut the string off The transparent ends on the new leaves have all filled in within a few days...so I am assuming everything is good? Time will tell I suppose.

what does "pruning it way down" mean?
