I wonder how that would do in a riparium(?). I have tried growing Hydrocotyle on Trellis Rafts before, but the problem that I had was that they ran too much with long internodes. It might work better with brighter light. That plant in the picture looks relatively compact. I like the variegation.

It looks to be worth a try. I have grown fond of Hydrocotyle sibthorpioides , it reminds me of a creeping clover and grows so easily. A variegated form would make a nice alternative. I am surprised it is not used more by the aquascape focused hobbyists as it is such a pleasant alternative to the endless ada like moss scapes. If it works I will let you know.
