I used dewormer for dogs, worked well and didn't cause any issues for the shrimp. Make sure you remove any snails you want to keep...

There's fish that like to eat them too, problem is, those fish also like to eat small shrimp/fry.
Where can I get this in Canada bc

I bought it off amazon.com...

Tricky part is figuring out the dose for your tank.

The main ingredient is fenbendazole, do a google search on that + fish tank, and also search this forum, you should find a lot of info on it. I can't remember anything about dosing.

An alternative would be No Planaria or Planaria Zero. Both are geared toward shrimp and are safe for fish and shrimp. You do need to take out any snails you want to save though. If you have a lot of snails, Planaria, or Hydra, make sure you watch out for ammonia spikes (clean up dead ones as you see them).

They've been wiped out by using a horse dewormer with fenbendazole; shrimps and fries unharmed! 😊
