This might sound like a stupid question but how do you plant trimmings, do I just bury it into the substrate, which seems pretty difficult since it doesnt like to stay or should I just let it float for a bit and maybe the roots will grow out?

any help will be must appreciated

Either or. Tweezers make planting anything a hell of a lot easier. For 10 bucks it's worth saving yourself lots of trouble. Remember to plant densely and in bunches for the best looking bush.

Some pull off the lower leaves, I leave them on, they can be useful for anchoring the plant in. I +1 the long tweezers idea I just grab the stem by the bottom with the tweezers, and push it all the way to the bottom of the substrate.
