No hood no cover.

I looked on drs. Foster and smith. They have a glass cover bit it seems the hoods don't come in my size.

Pet mountain has one, but am unsure of the quality -- can I fit a good bulb in it?

Is 65 watts the same as 6500 k?

I have been looking for full spectrum lights at Walmart per recommendation from a forum member but I think I need specific brand name and model number.

Plants arriving Monday and Wed next week!

Squeeeeee!

No, 65 watts is not the same as 6500k. Wattage is the measure of power used by the bulb. 6500k is the measure of the color temperature of the bulb. In our planted field you would want a bulb in the 6500k color temp. Take a look in our lighting section and read up on the sticky at the top of the forum. In the mean time you can get a dome work light and use a spiral cfl bulb to keep your plants alive.
