I cut off a piece of the stolon that was damaged to keep the rotting from spreading. i noticed that it started again because of a small hole in the stolon. is there anything i can do to stop the process, I don't want to lose another nice piece of anubias.

About how long will the healing process take?

Depends on how much bacteria got to the rhizome.

I pulled out a two foot long rhizome that started to melt on me one day. Its been months.
