I have three tanks all very carefully planed out to hide all equipment, i.e. intake, outflow, co2 diffuser and heater. What I want to do is get rid of the heater. I notice that you never see a heater in any of the ADA tanks. How do they heat there tanks. I keep discus in one of my tanks and apistos in the other two so I need warm water. Is there an external heater and where do I get it.
Thanks for any help.

a lot of people hid heaters by using them in line with their filter out flow, and some are even designed to lay flat along your gravel line without harming your fish or plants. hiding your heat method is only hard if you continue to use a traditional heater.

I have managed to hide my heaters in all my tanks but is the cord that is usually seen. My newest aquascape is more of a mountain landscape with mostly low growing plants. Thats the one I need the external heater for. The only thing is the filter tube size is 5/8" on a 20g so the inline heater that fits is way over kill,200watts.
Is that the only kind of inline heater?
