hey this morning i just did a tank for my brother its like quite tall cylinder, i anchored some hc for the ground and put in aqua fern and cabomba and some grass stuff

but i was wondering how i could calculate the size, so i could find out if i could fit fish in?

any help would be greatly appreciated

Without even looking... isn't it 3.14 * r * r * h ?

R is the radius (half of the diameter) and h is the Height of the cylinder?

Sure. Then you have cubic inches.

So, without looking, what's the conversion between cubic inches and gallons? More specifically, UK gallons, since the OP is in Edinburgh?

I use google to do conversions like this. Just ask for a conversion in the regular search box. And it does US and Imperial gallons. For example:

put in the search box: "convert 1000 cubic inches to imperial gallons"
and google spits back: "1 000 (cubic inches) = 3.60464866 Imperial gallons"

put in: "convert 1000 cubic inches to gallons"
google says: "1 000 (cubic inches) = 4.32900431 US gallons"
