I have some danio erythromicron, and I was thinking of getting white clouds to help get the danio's courage up. However, i have an open top tank and have heard rumors of white cloud jumpers. from your experiences guys is this true?

i have mine in an open top tank and they haven't jumped. they splash a little sometimes, but never jump.

um... i guess the regular kind? i didn't know there was sch a thing as sparkle eye white clouds

Pretty much every fish out there has the potential to jump out of the tank. I have been told countless times that I am taking a huge risk with having Roseline barbs in an open top tank, but lots of people here keep them with no problems.

Take the risk if you enjoy the fish.

Not much...but they are more sensitive to CO2 than tetras and cories and what not so use caution.

White clouds bullied my danio erythromicron , I had to move the white clouds to another tank. Now I have Ember tetras with them, and all is happy.

never had any trouble with them myself

I've had my clouds in an open tank for over a year now and haven't had any problems with jumping.

The only fish that don't jump are dead fish.
