[Kent's Aquarium]

I've got a 75g and Its planted w sand as substrate and I was wondering if I should invest in a water flow system or not the tank has some deadspots to. Any thoughts?

Welcome to TPT!

I too have a 75 gallon and I use two (2) Marineland 350 Magnum filters on it so I am moving about 700 gallons per hour. Even with those two filters when the plants grew up there were areas of the tank with minimal circulation so I went out and purchased a Hydor Koralia Nano 425 for addition circulation. Typically I try to have about 10X the tank gallons of flow in my tanks.

The general rule of thumb is 10 times the size of the tank so around 750 gph.

I have a FX5 on my 75 with a Koralia 550 gph and it works perfect , the FX5 is going through a reactor and an in line Hydor heater which slows the output considerably
