I have some java fern in my low light tank (1watt/G), and I am really becoming a big fan of the plant.

I was thinking about moving some of it to my other tank, but I am concerned that the lighting might be too bright...

It is a 12g nano tank with 24watts of T5 (2x 8watt 6700k, 1x 8watt 10,000k) dosing with excel.

Would java fern react poorly to that much light?

Thanks!

Your Java Fern will thrive in higher light, provided it also have appropriate nutrients. In fact virtually all "low-light" plants will thrive in higher light.

narrow leaf, needle leaf and the common java fern will grow like weed.
Microsorum pteropus var Philippine and Microsorum pteropus var Undulata are slower.
All in my 50 gallon, 4x39watt
