You could count me in
Yes, I am a member of CAGA but it is mostly email based. Not that much activity. I am hoping if there is more interest among locals to form a community around planted tanks, learn, share etc., then we can probably setup an active community. So are you interested?I'd be down, but I think there is one already, it might not be as active as other clubs.
Chicago aquatic gardeners association
Cool. I'll touch base with you.im in too
Cool. My schedule is hectic too, so we have to do what we can based on the time we can invest. I am planning to be in the GCCA swap meet in Dec. If you guys are interested, we can catch up over there, get to know each other, discuss some plans thoughts and see where it goes.I'm in, my schedual is a little hectic. What ever we setup I'd try to make it every time.
So far jczernia, Zinfin and myself are confirmed to be there. However times have not yet matched. Let one of us know (PM) what time works for you. BTW, I am thinking of having a separate meeting just between this group and do some plant swaps at that time. But that is up to you all.I would have some interest in a Chitown group. I would probably even bring in a small amount of java moss or other low light plant for the first meeting as kind of a grab bag or something. I will be at the GCCA event, but I would be hard pressed to say what time I will be attending.
That's great hydrophyte. Would love to have you in the pool! That is a good idea. I will try to attend someday if you do.
I usually go to Aquarium Adventure in Hoffman Estates. That's where somebody suggested me to try out GCCA swaps for cheaper prices and probably higher volumes of some of the fish I was looking for.Off topic: Anyone know of good FW fish stores in the area? NW Suburbs or near the city?
