I'm expecting a package of plants from a member on here. It was mailed (at least according to the mailer) on Wednesday evening by Priority mail, so it should have gone out on Thursday morning. It is now Tuesday afternoon, our mail has been delivered today, and still no package. With the post office closed tomorrow, the next time it could be delivered is Thursday, which means these plants have been bagged/boxed for over a week. (They were packaged and sat that way for a day or two before being mailed). The shipment was from Indiana to Arizona. I sent one to this same member and it arrived in less time than I have been waiting for mine...
So the question is, am I expecting a box of dead plants? Will they last that long? (I've never had a shipment take more than three or four days) The plants in the box are sunset hygro, ludwigia brevipes, hygrophila difformis 'variegated', pogostemon erectus, and rotala 'singapore'.
Hopefully the box was actually mailed...the member seemed trustworthy enough to me, but is not active on here very often.
